Born in Nassau, Bahamas, Troika Hanna has combined his passion for music and entertainment with his skills and education in Artist Management, Organizational Development, and Music Business. Troika is the son of Paul and Tanya Hanna, Jazz pioneers from Nassau, Bahamas. Troika graduated from Fisk University May 4, 2009, with the Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, the first student to complete the new Minor in Music Business, which is collaboration between the Fisk University Music Department, Business Administration Department, and the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business at Belmont University. Troika has performed with jazz musicians: Chick Corea, Lee Calender, Mtafiti Imara, Lisa DeSpain, Joe Spaniola, Victoria Theodore and Doug Pierce. Troika has twice been awarded the rating of “Superior” in the Nashville Area Music Teachers Association auditions. In April 2008, Troika received 1st Honorable Mention at the James A. Hefner Historically Black College/University Piano Competition at Tennessee State University.
